GBIS is affiliated to the Central Board Education (CBSE) and administering CCE pattern prescribed by the Board. The medium of instruction is English and the curriculum is broad based which ensures special inputs for the Gabriels.
Admission Tests. Tests for admission to class 3rd to 10th will be held in the month of February, against the number of vacancies available. |

Assessment & Exams

Continuous assessment of a student’s performance is determined by his/her performance .(Subject enrichment activities, Periodic Test along with Half yearly and Final Exams). The performance of the wards is appraised of on the parent teacher meetings.
XI-XII: (Science,Humanities,Commerce) Admission to +1 will be granted on the basis of Pre-Board results and considered provisional till the declaration of the class X Board exam results. Preference is given to students who have studied in CBSE affiliated schools. Students migrating from Punjab School Education Board are required to clear an additional exam of English at the time of entrance. Counseling for admission to +1 will be on the last Sunday of March. Documents Required at the Time of Registration and Admission
a. Date of Birth (An Attested copy of the Birth Certificate of student as issued by the Municipal Committee or Government Authorities)
b. Six passport size photographs of the student.
c. A transfer certificate reflecting promotion to the class to which admission is sought from the last school attended will have to be furnished before depositing the fees.
GBIS has become from a sapling to a shady tree since its year of inception i.e. 2008. Gabriels have shown remarkably good results in academics and Co-curricular activities. Some of the achievements are:-
